Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Database & Backend Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and optimize

  relational databases

  (MySQL / PostgreSQL / SQL Server).
• Write and manage

  complex SQL queries

  , stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Perform

  SQL query optimization

  , indexing, and execution plan analysis to improve performance.
• Manage

  large-scale datasets

  generated from device integrations, screening camps, and health programs.
• Ensure

  data accuracy, integrity, security, and compliance

  with healthcare data standards.
• Support backend application teams by ensuring

  fast and reliable database performance

  .
• Monitor database health, conduct performance tuning, and plan for scalability.

Business Intelligence & Analytics (Power BI)

• Design, develop, and maintain

  Power BI dashboards and reports

  for leadership, operations, and government reporting.
• Build efficient

  data models

  , relationships, and calculations using

  DAX

  .
• Integrate Power BI with SQL databases and optimize

  data refresh and performance

  .
• Create

  automated and scheduled reports

  for internal teams, CSR partners, and public health programs.
• Translate business and healthcare requirements into

  clear, actionable visual insights

  .
• Implement data validation, consistency checks, and governance within BI systems.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in

  SQL

  , including advanced joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions, and aggregations.
• Proven experience in

  SQL performance optimization and database tuning

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  Power BI

  , including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard design.
• Solid understanding of

  relational database design

  , indexing, normalization, and partitioning.
• Experience working with

  backend systems and APIs

  for data consumption.
• Basic understanding of

  ETL processes and data pipelines
