Data Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

· Analyse and update product attribute data including UPC, Brand, Sub Brand, Parent-Child structure, Promotions, and packaging details.

· Leverage strong FMCG and CPG domain knowledge to ensure data accuracy and market relevance.

· Perform product attribution coding and mapping using the company’s internal tools and standardized frameworks.

· Collaborate with inventory and audit teams to align product data with field-level insights and scanned information.

· Conduct market research to identify product hierarchy, variants, and competitive trends.

· Ensure timely and high-quality updates during scheduled audits, often under tight deadlines and pressure.

· Coordinate with remote and field teams to resolve data inconsistencies, missing attributes, and duplication issues.

· Maintain high productivity while ensuring completeness and accuracy of product listings.

· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize data workflows and contribute to product enrichment strategies.

· Work across rotational shifts including night shifts and rotational week-offs as per project requirements.

Key Skills & Tools:

· Deep knowledge of FMCG/CPG product structures and supply chain terminologies

· Expertise in UPC-level product analysis and parent-child relationships

· Proficient in Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Cleaning)

· Experience in product attribution, inventory management, or retail market research

· Ability to work under pressure with tight turnaround timelines

· Strong communication and collaboration skills

· Tools: Excel, Google Sheets, Company Product Tools, Notion/JIRA/Trello (preferred)

Preferred Background:

· Prior work in FMCG/CPG product data management or inventory analytics

· Experience in handling large volumes of SKU-level data

· Exposure to market audit, pricing, and promotional analysis
