Role: Data Scientist

About the Job:

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist with a strong foundation in Machine Learning and Deep learning knowledge and expertise in Python and SQL to join our growing data team. You will be responsible for developing data-driven solutions to solve business problems, building predictive models, and delivering actionable insights. This role requires analytical thinking, business acumen, and hands-on technical skills.

Roles & Responsibility: -

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing, etc.) to understand business requirements and identify data opportunities
• Extract, clean, and analyze large volumes of data using Python and SQL
• Build and deploy machine learning models to support key business initiatives (e.g., classification, forecasting, recommendation systems)
• Perform statistical analysis and A/B testing to measure the impact of features and changes
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders through dashboards, reports, and visualizations
• Continuously improve data pipelines, feature engineering, and model accuracy
• Ensure data quality and integrity across systems

Desired Profile: -

• Experience in both real time and batch pipelines for AIML based solutions
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, numpy, matplotlib/seaborn, etc.)
• Strong SQL skills, with experience in writing complex queries and optimizing performance
• Strong foundation in machine learning and deep learning algorithms and expertise in natural language processing (NLP)
• Experience with data wrangling, feature engineering, and model evaluation
• Proficient in using AI coding assistants (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) to accelerate data analysis, machine learning, pipeline automation, and rapid prototyping across tools like PySpark, pandas, and TensorFlow.
• Skilled at translating natural language into code for data science tasks, with attention to ethical considerations and validation of AI-generated code.
• Ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.

Technical skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Familiarity with tools like Airflow, or Docker
• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative coding
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or RAG

Work Experience:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in a data science or machine learning role with demonstrated history of delivering high impact solutions

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
