Data Science Analyst

Key Responsibilities
Analysis & Research Conduct ad hoc exploratory data analysis to identify fraud patterns and trends, with focuson new account fraud and account takeovers Integrate and evaluate third-party data sources to test and enhance the efficacy of existing fraud detection solutions Perform retrospective analyses and back-testing to demonstrate solution value toprospective clients Execute statistical studies to support product development and optimization decisionsModel Support & Validation Collaborate with senior data scientists to support predictive model development andimplementation Conduct quality assurance testing of machine learning algorithms and key data attributes Validate model performance and stability across different data scenarios Stay current on emerging data science techniques, particularly in AI/ML for frauddetectionCommunication & Reporting Define and deliver analytical reports that translate complex findings into actionablebusiness insights Present results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Support client demonstrations and proof-of-concept initiatives Document analytical methodologies and findings

Required Qualifications Education
 Bachelor's or advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, DataScience, or a related quantitative field

Experience
 3 – 5 years in data science, analytics, or a related analytical role. Immediate joining preferred (within 2 weeks) Must hold a valid passport Valid B1 visa is an added advantage

Technical Skills
 Proficiency in Python Experience with Jupyter Notebook and statistical analysis Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Analytical Skills
 Solid understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning concepts Experience with data exploration and pattern recognition Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

Communication
 Ability to explain complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences Personal Attributes Self-directed with strong project management skills Collaborative team player with eagerness to learn Detail-oriented with commitment to data quality and accuracy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
