As an experienced Data Engineering professional with 10-15 years of experience in the AI Labs industry, your role will involve leading and managing data engineering teams to deliver complex projects successfully. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable data engineering solutions while providing technical guidance and mentorship to your team. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions will be a key aspect of your role. Your innovative mindset will drive the evaluation and implementation of new technologies for data processing and analysis, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of data engineering systems. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and efficient data engineering solutions - Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance and leadership - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions - Drive innovation by evaluating and implementing new technologies and tools for data processing and analysis - Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of data engineering systems and processes - Develop and maintain documentation for data engineering processes, standards, and best practices - Contribute to the overall data strategy and roadmap for the organization Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - Professional certifications in data engineering or related fields are an advantage - Cloud Data Engineering certification from Azure or GCP In addition to your technical expertise, your strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, problem-solving mindset, and focus on innovation will be crucial in this role. Your adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, along with your strong decision-making and strategic thinking capabilities, will contribute to the success of the data engineering projects. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data engineering and AI Labs, and leverage your strong data engineering skills, programming expertise in Python, Scala, and SQL, hands-on experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Databricks, and Iceberg, as well as knowledge in data governance, quality, and security principles. Your experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, database management, ERP/system integration, data analytics, and machine learning concepts will be advantageous in fulfilling the responsibilities of this role. Your expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data pipeline development, combined with your leadership and communication skills, are non-negotiable requirements for this position.
