Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Thiruvananthapuram Taluk for a Data Engineering Lead. The role involves leading and managing data engineering projects, designing robust data pipelines, and ensuring data integrity and scalability. Responsibilities include developing, optimizing, and maintaining data architectures, collaborating with data scientists and analysts, and implementing best practices. The Data Engineering Lead will also mentor team members and align data solutions with business objectives while leveraging emerging technologies in data engineering.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Data Engineering, working with large datasets, and designing data pipelines
• Proficiency in programming languages and tools like Python, Java, or Scala, along with experience in ETL frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and distributed data processing systems
• In-depth knowledge of database systems including both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including their cloud-based data services
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
• Experience in the automotive or technology industry is a plus
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
