Data Engineering Lead

Role Overview: You are a seasoned Data/Information Management Senior Analyst with in-depth disciplinary knowledge and expertise. You will contribute to the development of new techniques, improve processes, and workflows within the area or function. Your role involves integrating subject matter expertise and industry knowledge within a defined area. You must have a deep understanding of how different areas integrate within the sub-function, coordinate effectively, and contribute to the function's objectives and overall business goals. Your analytical skills will be crucial in filtering, prioritizing, and validating complex material from multiple sources. Excellent communication, diplomacy, and leadership skills are required as you will have a significant impact on project size and geography, influencing decisions and providing advice, counsel, and services to others in your area of specialization. Additionally, coaching, training, and mentoring new recruits will be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Possess 10-12 years of relevant experience in delivering data analytical solutions - Manage a team of 5-8 Data engineers for at least 2-3 years - Demonstrate strong people management skills - Identify, articulate, and solve complex business problems effectively - Hands-on experience with Big Data Technology stack including HIVE, Spark - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, Spark SQL, Pyspark Dataframes API - Design efficient and robust ETL workflows - Automate manual workflows, processes, and data loads - Work with large datasets, data warehouses, and streaming data - Experience in Credit Cards and Retail Banking products - Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong process/project management skills - Manage multiple stakeholders effectively - Act as a strong team player - Guide and mentor junior team members - Maintain a control-oriented and risk-aware approach Qualifications: - Masters/MCA or Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technology/Computer Science from premier institutes Additional Company Details: The company is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to use search tools and apply for career opportunities.
