Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

1. 8+ years of experience and played the role of data architect at least 3 years on Data Warehouse and Analytics solutions
2. 3+ years of experience with any of the cloud (AWS, Azure and GCP) and strong knowledge of Ingestion and consumption process in Data Lake
3. 3+ years of experience in cloud-based EDW platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BiqQuery, Synapse etc.)
4. 3+ years of building and launching new data models that provide intuitive analytics for the analysts and customers
5. Strong experience working with and analyzing large datasets within the relevant domains of enterprise data
6. Strong experience in Data Warehouse ETL design and development, methodologies, tools, processes and best practices
7. Good knowledge of RDBMS topics, ability to write complex SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX scripts etc.
8. Understanding of performance tuning and troubleshooting aspects
9. Communication and presentation experience with proven track record of using insights to influence executives and colleagues

Good-to-Have

1. Awareness or expertise in data security and data access controls and design aspects
2. Awareness or expertise in DevOps tools like GitHub, Cloud DevOps, etc.
3. Awareness or expertise in monitoring the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting and integrating new features
4. Experience with development frameworks (SCRUM/Agile)
5. Recommend solutions to improve cloud and existing Datawarehouse solutions

Role Descriptions / Expectations from the Role:

1.Lead, analyze, design and deliver analytics solutions and applications including statistical data models, reports, and dashboards in cloud and corresponding cloud EDW database platform

2.Use leadership abilities to drive cross functional development on new solutions from design through delivery

3.Demonstrate the new capabilities of advanced analytics to business and technology teams to show the potential of the Data platform

4.Work with key stakeholders in product management and leadership to define strategy and requirements

5.Contribute to high-level architecture and drives low-level design

6.Work with all stakeholders to deliver supporting software and services in sync with timelines

7.Offer insight, guidance and direction on the usage of emerging data analytics trends and technical capabilities

8.Educate junior colleagues through training and individual support

9.Employ industry best practices to deliver world-class solutions. Ensure developed solutions remain compliant with standards

Technology Brief

Data Architect will be responsible for designing and leading the data architecture and integration for multiple projects. Data Architect will be writing the specs and designing the solutions and coordinate with the development team to support the business needs and collaborate with enterprise architecture, business and development teams. Data Architect will also guide application and business development teams in the analytics design of complex solutions and ensure that they are in alignment with the TCS data principles, standards, strategies.
