Job OverviewThe Service Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service department, including scheduling preventive maintenance, coordinating field engineers, handling customer queries, maintaining service records, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and schedule service visits, AMCs, and CMEs across regions. Act as the primary point of contact for customer service-related inquiries and complaints. Assign service calls to field engineers based on location and workload. Maintain and update the service calendar using internal tools and Google Workspace. Track open service requests and ensure timely resolution. Prepare service reports, track preventive maintenance schedules, and follow up on pending tasks. Work closely with the sales and inventory teams to ensure availability of spare parts. Maintain customer databases and service history records accurately. Provide regular updates and performance reports to the Service Head. Ensure compliance with warranty, AMC, and CMC terms. QualificationsBachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in service coordination, preferably in medical equipment or manufacturing industries. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Office, Google Sheets, and CRM tools. Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first attitude. Preferred SkillsPrior experience in coordinating field engineers. Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Odoo) is a plus. Basic understanding of autoclaves or sterilization equipment will be advantageous.
