Customer Care Executive

Job Title: Customer Care Executive Department: Front Office / Customer Service Location: Kovilambakkam Reports to: Customer Care Manager / Operations Manager Job Purpose:To provide professional, courteous, and efficient service to all patients and visitors by assisting them with appointments, inquiries, and hospital services, ensuring a smooth and positive experience throughout their visit. Key Responsibilities :Sl. No.Duties & Responsibilities 1Welcome and assist patients and visitors at the front desk or helpdesk. 2Manage patient registration, appointments, and scheduling with doctors. 3Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries professionally. 4Provide information about hospital services, departments, and facilities. 5Coordinate with nursing, diagnostic, and medical teams to facilitate patient flow. 6Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of patient records. 7Support billing and admission processes as needed. 8Handle patient grievances or escalate them to the concerned authority. 9Collect patient feedback and report to management for service improvement. 10Maintain confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies and quality standards. Key Skills & Competencies:Polite, patient-friendly communication Fluency in English and local languages (Tamil, Hindi, etc.) Problem-solving and interpersonal skills Knowledge of basic computer usage and hospital software Time management and multitasking ability Educational Qualifications & Experience:CriteriaDetailsEducationAny graduate (preferably in Hospitality, Healthcare, or related field)Experience0–2 years in a hospital or clinical front-office role Working Conditions:Rotational shifts including weekends and public holidays Front desk or outpatient service areas Requires standing or sitting for long hours depending on shift
