Job Title: Credit Bureau Manager

Department: Credit Operations / Compliance

Location: Gurugram

Job Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Credit Bureau Manager to oversee the accurate and timely reporting of personal loan data to all Credit Information Companies (CICs). The role requires strong attention to detail, a thorough understanding of credit bureau processes, and the ability to resolve disputes efficiently. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, prevent escalations, and safeguard the company’s credit reporting integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CIC Reporting: Ensure timely, complete, and accurate submission of personal loan data

(DISBs, repayments, closures, defaults, etc.) to all registered Credit Information Companies

(e.g., CIBIL, Experian, CRIF High Mark, Equifax) in accordance with regulatory requirements.

  • Data Accuracy: Validate data before submission to avoid errors that could impact customer credit scores or company compliance.
  • Dispute Resolution: Manage and resolve all customer credit report disputes promptly by

coordinating with internal teams, clients, and CICs.

  • Client Communication: Contact customers directly when required to understand and resolve their concerns regarding credit reporting issues.
  • Bureau Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact with all CICs for data reporting,

clarifications, re-submissions, or escalations.

  • Proactive Monitoring: Continuously monitor for data inconsistencies or repeat issues and

take corrective actions proactively.

  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and address any CIBIL or credit bureau disputes before they escalate to the RBI or other regulatory/governing bodies.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with IT/Data teams to improve automation and reduce

manual errors in bureau reporting processes.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure bureau reporting adheres to RBI norms, CIC regulations, and internal credit policy.
  • MIS & Reporting: Maintain detailed logs, dashboards, and audit trails of all credit bureau

activities and dispute resolutions for internal tracking and regulatory audits.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in credit bureau reporting and dispute

resolution within an NBFC, bank, or fintech company.

  • Education: Graduate in Finance, Commerce, or a related field. MBA or certification in

credit/risk management is a plus.

• Skills:

o Strong understanding of credit bureau formats, DPD reporting, and regulatory

requirements.

o Experience with CIBIL, CRIF, Experian, and Equifax reporting portals.

o Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with credit data handling systems.

o Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

o High level of accountability and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with AECB/CKYC/NPCI reporting processes.
  • Exposure to dispute resolution via CIBIL Dispute Resolution Portal or equivalent.
  • Experience in automating credit reporting workflows with IT teams.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
