You will be responsible for managing accounting and financial systems, including accounting software such as Tally and SAP. This will involve maintaining accounting ledgers, running periodic audits, and developing internal processes for managing vendor invoices and employee out-of-pocket expenses. You will work closely with business units to identify excess spending and potential optimizations, as well as coordinate with founders to manage firmwide budgeting. In terms of financial reporting, you will be tasked with building management information systems (MIS) for internal reporting, including expense distribution, revenues, and profit and loss (P&L) statements. You will also be responsible for creating a central repository of invoices, filings, and other financial documents. Your role will also encompass managing regulatory and statutory compliance, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to respective authorities. Additionally, you will need to understand the company's business models to devise tax-optimal structures and ensure compliance with timely tax filings, including Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS).
