Named among the next billion-dollar startups, we're not just changing how people access financial products — we're creating a new credit system that backs the working, whatever they're working toward.The Opportunity: Credit Analyst – IndiaWe're looking for a highly analytical, data-driven Credit Analyst to support the growth and risk management of our India lending business, NIRA Finance – a recent addition to the Tilt team. This role will help shape credit policy, drive performance insights, and partner cross-functionally to deliver impactful solutions for our customers.How You'll Make an Impact
- Develop new credit policies and regularly review and update existing ones to support Tilt's business in India. Collaborate with the technology team to implement and rigorously test these policy changes
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and actionable insights, while continuously monitoring portfolio performance and benchmarking against industry standards
- Collaborate closely with the Data Science team to influence and use models that solve business problems, monitor business outcomes and enhance analytical tools
- Work with NIRA's leadership team to refine and execute the business plans and agenda
- Partner with other credit and data science teams operating internationally and in the US to identify transferable learnings, strategies, and synergies and help implement them
- Partner with leaders in product, engineering, marketing, and finance to ensure that the team’s work fits within the larger picture
Why You're a Great Fit
- 2+ years of experience in credit risk, data analytics, or unsecured lending, preferably in the Indian financial services sector.
- Proficient in SQL, Python, and Excel for data analysis, automation, and performance reporting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to dive deep and also communicate insights clearly.
- Familiarity with credit policy development and risk monitoring frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.
- Location: Bangalore, India (preferred).
