About the role: Loreto is looking for a creative, detail-driven Visual Content Designer to join our marketing team. This role sits at the intersection of art direction, illustration, and short-form video production you will design, animate and deliver high-impact visuals that strengthen Loreto’s brand voice across Instagram and other digital channels. The ideal candidate translates brand strategy into engaging content, drives social performance with thoughtful craft, and contributes to product storytelling across digital commerce (including Amazon A+ content) and packaging.
Key responsibilities — (what you will do):
• Produce high-quality short-form videos and Instagram Reels from concept to delivery, optimized for engagement and discoverability.
• Design and illustrate original comic/character assets that amplify Loreto’s brand storytelling and create emotional connection.
• Create static and multi-card social content (posts, carousels, stories, highlight covers) that align with campaign objectives and brand guidelines.
• Develop and apply custom typography/fond treatments and consistent visual systems for campaigns and product launches.
• Design product visuals and packaging artwork and collaborate with production/vendors to ensure print-ready and manufacturing-ready assets.
• Create Amazon A+ (Enhanced Brand Content) modules: lifestyle imagery, comparison charts, product feature visuals and infographics that drive conversion. (This is an important part of the role.)
• Perform basic to intermediate video editing and motion graphics in Premiere Pro and After Effects add transitions, overlays and subtle motion to elevate storytelling.
• Work closely with content writers, product & marketing teams to ensure concept → copy → visual alignment, and deliver on schedule.
• Maintain and organize design files, templates and a brand asset library; ensure all team output is consistent with Loreto’s visual identity.
• Track creative performance input (engagement and conversion metrics) and iterate designs based on results and feedback.
What success looks like: Consistent on-brand, high-quality creative output; measurable uplift in social engagement and conversion on commerce channels; fast, reliable delivery and proactive collaboration with marketing and product teams.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Animation, Fine Arts or related creative discipline.
Experience:
• 1–4 years of professional experience in visual content, social media design or digital marketing creative. (Talented freshers with strong portfolios may be considered.)
Technical skills (must-have):
• Strong command of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (daily use).
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or After Effects (short-form video editing and motion graphics).
• Hands-on experience preparing artwork for print and packaging (bleed, dielines, color modes, export settings).
• Practical knowledge of Instagram formats (feed, story, reels, carousel) and video optimization best practices.
Business / product skills (important):
• Experience creating Amazon A+/EBC modules or similar ecommerce visual content (highly desirable).
• Understanding of visual storytelling that drives engagement and conversion on social + commerce platforms.
Creative strengths & portfolio:
• Portfolio required must demonstrate character/illustration work, social content, and packaged/product visuals. Provide links (Behance/Dribbble) or an attached PDF.
• Strong sense of composition, typography, color, and visual rhythm.
• Ability to ideate quickly and present concepts with rationale.
Soft skills & personal traits:
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working with copywriters, product and marketing colleagues.
• Strong time management: able to handle multiple briefs and meet deadlines.
• Curious, proactive, coachable open to feedback and iterative design.
• Detail oriented and quality driven.
• Passion for trends in social media, short-form video and lifestyle branding.
Nice-to-have / bonus skills:
• Experience developing or applying branded custom fonts or typographic systems.
• Motion graphics / animation skills beyond basics (character rigging, kinetic typography).
• E-commerce photography direction or studio shoot experience.
• Familiarity with design systems and Figma for collaboration.
Working conditions & other notes:
• This is a full-time, on-site role at Loreto HQ, Ahmedabad. Remote/hybrid not available.
