We are now looking for a Creative Video Editor who belongs to the top 1% of the industry — someone who doesn’t just edit videos, but crafts films that will be remembered forever.

About the Role

This isn’t a regular editing job. This role demands a visionary storyteller who can transform raw footage into art. From wedding films and teasers to reels, branded content, and cinematic campaigns, you’ll create edits that capture emotions with luxury precision. If you’re also skilled in cinematography, that’s a huge plus — because Novella thrives on creators who can both capture and craft timeless stories.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit across formats: cinematic wedding films, highlight reels, teasers, social-first content (Reels/Shorts).
• Balance storytelling, rhythm, and emotion with Novella’s luxury aesthetic.
• Handle both fast-turnaround edits (social) and high-end cinematic films.
• Translate moodboards and briefs into compelling narratives.
• Collaborate with directors and cinematographers to elevate footage into luxury-standard edits.
• Push boundaries using AI tools, VFX, and advanced techniques.
• Ability to shoot luxury weddings, behind-the-scenes, or branded content (preferred).
• Strong understanding of camera systems, lighting, and composition.
• Curate tracks that elevate the emotional impact of edits.
• Perform basic sound mastering to match luxury cinematic quality.
• Deliver edits under tight timelines without compromising quality.
• Work dynamically during peak wedding seasons (late nights, travel if needed).
• Own every project as if it’s your personal masterpiece.

What We’re Looking For

• 4–8 years of professional editing experience (luxury weddings, lifestyle, or film industry preferred).
• Portfolio that shows cinematic storytelling and luxury sensibility.
• Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Audition (and openness to AI tools).
• Strong storytelling instincts: rhythm, pacing, and luxury tone.
• Bonus: Proven cinematography skills with high-end camera systems.
• Passion for weddings, emotions, and luxury storytelling.
• Ability to thrive in dynamic schedules (6-day weeks, wedding timelines).
• Based in Delhi NCR or willing to relocate to South Delhi (GK-1).
