Creative Video Editor

As a Video Editor at DigitalTrax, you will play a crucial role in editing video content for various platforms such as YouTube, social media, and websites. Your primary responsibility will be to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that aligns with the director's vision and is broadcast-ready. You will collaborate with the content team, trim footage segments, input music and effects, create rough and final cuts, and ensure smooth sequencing. Additionally, you will stay updated on new editing technologies to enhance efficiency and assist in creating storyboards and scripts. Key Responsibilities: - Edit video content for platforms like YouTube, social media, and websites - Collaborate with the content team to understand project scope and objectives - Trim footage segments and assemble them into a cohesive sequence - Add music, dialogues, graphics, and effects - Create rough and final cuts ensuring logical sequencing - Stay updated on new editing technologies and industry best practices - Assist in creating storyboards and scripts - Manage and organize digital assets Qualifications Required: - Proven work experience as a Video Editor with a minimum of 1 year experience (Preferably in a Digital Marketing Agency) - Proficiency in editing software packages like Davinci, Premiere, After Effects - Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio - Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity - Creative mindset and strong storytelling skills - Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field is a plus Location: Delhi NCR Equipments: Must have own Laptop In addition to the fulfilling role at DigitalTrax, you can look forward to competitive salary packages, growth opportunities within the company, a creative and collaborative work environment, health and wellness benefits, and flexible working hours.
