We are currently incubating a stealth media-tech venture focused on reinventing digital engagement, public campaigns, and narrative infrastructure through AI, creative strategy, and performance-driven content.


Position Summary

We are hiring a Creative Director to lead the creative strategy and execution for a portfolio of high-impact, large-scale public engagement and political campaigns. This is a leadership role for a seasoned creative professional with 10+ years of experience in building and managing end-to-end campaigns across formats including digital, video, print, experiential, and social media. The role involves building the creative function from the ground up including internal team structure, external production relationships, content strategy, and campaign execution workflows. You will collaborate closely with Strategy, Media, Research, and Technology teams to ensure that every campaign asset is sharp, impactful, and contextually aligned with audience insights and campaign goals.


Key Responsibilities

1. Creative Strategy & Narrative Design

  • Lead end-to-end campaign ideation from brainstorming compelling campaign hooks to designing structured narrative arcs
  • Develop the overarching creative strategy for each campaign, translating briefs into actionable ideas that align with audience behavior, media formats, and platform dynamics
  • Proactively conceptualize original, high-impact campaign ideas, rooted in political or public narratives, that can be executed across digital, print, events, and mass media
  • Define the message architecture, campaign theme, and storytelling framework, ensuring every output ladder ups to the strategic core
  • Translate complex campaign goals into cohesive creative directions that are bold, contextual, and emotionally resonant


2. Campaign Execution & Asset Oversight

  • Oversee development of all campaign collateral from social media assets and long-form content to videos, public-facing documents, and OOH creatives
  • Review and guide creative outputs across copywriting, graphic design, video editing, and motion graphics
  • Ensure timely delivery and quality control across all creative deliverables in fast-paced campaign environments


3. Creative Team Leadership

  • Build and manage a cross-functional in-house creative team, including designers, writers, editors, and content producers
  • Define internal processes, feedback cycles, and asset review protocols
  • Mentor junior creatives and develop training or benchmarking systems for quality assurance


4. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with internal teams (Strategy, Media, Research, Data, Content) to align creative direction with campaign objectives
  • Collaborate with Founders and Campaign Leads on high-priority mandates and narrative interventions
  • Represent the creative function in leadership reviews and external stakeholder discussions


Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in creative leadership roles, ideally in advertising, political communications, or public engagement firms
  • Strong background in campaign execution with a proven ability to manage high-output creative teams
  • Experience working across formats (digital, print, video, social, and events) and adapting campaigns to regional or demographic nuances
  • Demonstrated ability to balance storytelling, design, and data-informed creative decision-making
  • Prior work with AI or technology-enabled creative tooling is a strong advantage
