About the Role

We are seeking a Production Cost & Inventory Analyst with a strong background in cost and management accounting to manage and analyze daily production and warehouse data. This role is well-suited for a CMA Inter (dropout or pursuing) or a B.Com graduate with strong costing knowledge, who has hands-on experience in Tally ERP and a solid understanding of raw material consumption, wastage tracking, and variance analysis.

The position will also involve monitoring machine maintenance requirements and preparing detailed Planning vs. Actual production reports to support management in operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Inventory Oversight

• Review and validate daily production entries in Tally ERP.
• Track raw material consumption, finished goods output, and shop-floor wastage.
• Monitor inventory levels and highlight unusual consumption or variances.

Cost & Variance Analysis

• Prepare material variance and yield reports (planned vs. actual usage).
• Identify overconsumption, process inefficiencies, and potential losses.
• Collaborate with production supervisors to reduce wastage and control costs.

Maintenance Reporting

• Maintain logs of machine running hours, downtime, and service history.
• Generate preventive maintenance alerts based on usage data.
• Assist in maintenance planning with cost and frequency analysis.

Planning vs. Actual Reporting

• Compare planned production vs. actual output on a daily and monthly basis.
• Identify bottlenecks, shortfalls, and suggest corrective actions.
• Provide insights to management for improving production planning efficiency.

Coordination & Documentation

• Liaise with warehouse and production teams for real-time data updates.
• Maintain proper documentation of production data, variance logs, and maintenance records.
• Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports for management review.

Candidate Profile

• Education: CMA Inter (Dropout/Pursuing) or B.Com with strong costing knowledge.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting).
• Other Skills: Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and understanding of production flow.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
