Job Summary

The CSR Manager will assist the Head of CSR in the development and implementation of an agreed CSR plan for the zone/company. The role involves undertaking socio-economic need assessments, engaging affected communities in planning and execution, facilitating compliance with internal and statutory audits, and commitments. The CSR Manager will work closely with external stakeholders, NGOs, and local authorities, and support and coordinate with internal teams as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the CSR Head in the development and implementation of the CSR plan for the Zonal/National level.
• Undertake socio-economic need assessments and engage affected communities in planning and execution.
• Facilitate compliance with internal and statutory audits and commitments.
• Work closely with external stakeholders, NGOs, and local authorities.
• Support and coordinate with internal teams and other units as required.
• Document and report on CSR activities and results.
• Constantly update on CSR issues and identify and implement improvement actions.
• Build and maintain sound community relations.

Desired Qualifications and Technical Competencies

• Post-Graduation in Social Work, Social Sciences, or Rural Management with at least 10 years of experience in CSR, NGO, or Development Agency.
• Proficient in computer usage, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Corporate experience or corporate cross-over will be an advantage.
• Exposure to legal compliance, CSR projects/programs communications, documentation, research and content creation, and communication design.
• Knowledge of CSR rules and regulations and best practices in the CSR ecosystem.
• Sound understanding of resource mobilization and partnership management.
• Ability to travel for work across site locations and rural communities.
• Strong ownership of tasks and excellent teamwork skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Functional excellence and domain experience, drive for results, ability to withstand pressure, and good interpersonal effectiveness.
• Innovative and able to deal with ambiguity.
• Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills.
