Job Description

Role & responsibilities: ----

Monitor regulatory requirements and ensure timely adherence.
Provide guidance to plants on new and evolving legal norms.
Conduct risk assessments, safety training, and incident reviews.
Promote initiatives on energy conservation, waste management, and emission control.
Track and report environmental KPIs.
Integrate sustainability into site operations. Assist as necessary in implementation of a hazard communication program and preparation of reports.
Develop and standardize EHS policies, SOPs, and documentation.
Coordinate and ensure timely application & procurement of Certificate of Establishment, Consent to Establish, and Consent to Operate (from relevant authorities (SPCB/CPCB, industrial development bodies).
Maintain end-to-end statutory documentation for environmental clearances, licenses, and consent renewals in a centralized and audit-ready format.
