Role & responsibilities Ensure smooth operation of all plant machinery and utilities through preventive and corrective maintenance. Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical, electrical, and utility equipment. Diagnose equipment breakdowns, troubleshoot faults, and ensure timely restoration of operations. Monitor machine performance, analyze recurring issues, and implement long-term corrective actions. Coordinate with production, safety, and quality teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. Supervise maintenance technicians, allocate daily tasks, and ensure compliance with maintenance procedures. Manage spare parts inventory, vendor coordination, and AMC contracts for critical equipment. Ensure safety compliance during maintenance activities and support audit and statutory inspections. Plan and execute equipment overhauling, installation, commissioning, and plant improvement projects. Prepare maintenance reports, downtime analysis, and recommend efficiency and cost-saving measures.
