Role & Responsibilities

FinalLayer is hiring for a Content Writing & SEO specialist who will play a crucial role in developing compelling content on personal branding, content creation, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and other social media platforms. This role offers an exciting opportunity for highly motivated individuals to contribute to the growth of an early stage startup and learn a lifetime of professional skills at the same time.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

SEO-driven content creation:

• Research and write high-quality, engaging blog posts, articles, website copy, and social media content with infographics optimized for target keywords and search engines.
• Develop content strategies that align with SEO best practices and drive organic traffic to FinalLayer.
• Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify content opportunities and improve search rankings.

Video Content Optimization:

• Write compelling video titles, descriptions, and transcripts that enhance discoverability and engagement on LinkedIn and other platforms.
• Collaborate with the machine learning team to understand and leverage video analysis data for content optimization.
• Create supporting written content for video releases, such as blog posts or social media snippets.

Website Content Management:

• Maintain and update website content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and SEO optimization.
• Create and optimize landing pages to drive conversions and support marketing campaigns.
• Work with the development team to implement SEO best practices on the website.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

• Track and analyze content performance metrics, including website traffic, search rankings, and social media engagement.
• Generate regular reports on content performance and provide insights for optimization.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in content writing and SEO, preferably within the SaaS industry.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a strong grasp of grammar and style.
• Understanding of SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building.
• Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with LinkedIn content creation and strategy is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with video content creation and optimization is a big plus.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
