About the Role

We're seeking a passionate Content Developer to join our dynamic EdTech team and help shape the future of technical education. You'll be responsible for creating comprehensive, industry-relevant courses that empower learners to master critical DevOps and cloud computing skills. This role offers the unique opportunity to translate complex technical concepts into engaging, accessible learning experiences.

What You'll Do

Course Development & Content Creation

• Design and develop comprehensive courses across core DevOps and cloud computing domains
• Develop diverse content formats including hands-on labs, interactive exercises, assessments, and project-based learning modules
• Structure learning paths that progress logically from foundational to advanced concepts
• Create practical coding exercises and real-world implementation scenarios

Content Quality & Industry Relevance

• Ensure all content reflects current industry best practices and emerging trends
• Create practical, real-world scenarios and use cases that mirror actual workplace challenges
• Develop hands-on projects and labs that provide learners with portfolio-worthy experience
• Collaborate with our instructional design team to optimize learning outcomes

Platform Integration & Optimization

• Work closely with our platform team to ensure seamless content delivery and user experience
• Continuously iterate and improve existing content based on learner feedback and performance data
• Stay current with educational technology trends and incorporate innovative teaching methodologies

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on industry experience in DevOps, cloud computing, or related technical roles
• Domain expertise in containerization, orchestration, infrastructure automation, and cloud platforms
• Demonstrated experience creating technical content, documentation, tutorials, or training materials
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and modern deployment practices

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in shell scripting and command-line environments
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes)
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their core services
• Solid understanding of computer networking fundamentals and security best practices
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools and CI/CD pipeline implementation
• Familiarity with configuration management and automation tools

Content Creation & Communication

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
• Experience breaking down complex topics into digestible learning modules
• Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices
• Portfolio of technical content (blog posts, documentation, tutorials, or previous course materials)

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or other relevant technologies
• Experience with learning management systems or educational platforms
• Background in technical training, workshops, or mentoring
• Familiarity with video production and editing tools
• Understanding of accessibility standards in educational content
