Role Overview

This is a junior-level role designed for early-career professionals with less than 6 years of work experience

We are looking for an Associate Product Manager - Data & Content to join our team. This is a junior product role with a strong focus on managing the structured content and datasets that power The Education Match platform. You will play a key role in organising, maintaining, and improving the accuracy of our content, while also supporting product development initiatives. The role also comes with the opportunity to build and lead a small team for Data Configuration & Management over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Take

  ownership of the Data & Content layer

  of The Education Match platform (courses, colleges, exams, careers).
• Ability to

  collaborate with product, tech, and research teams

  to align content with business needs.
• Support product and tech teams in building scalable data pipelines and workflows.
• Ensure data quality by managing structuring, enrichment, and updates.
• Work with counsellors and researchers to align content with student and parent needs.
• Track and report content health and usage metrics to the leadership team.
• Run audits to maintain content accuracy and usability.
• Build and lead a small Data Configuration & Management team as the platform scales.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 1–5 years of work experience in data management, content operations, or product support roles.

• Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets

  ; familiarity with SQL or databases is a plus.

• Ability to structure, clean, and maintain large datasets with accuracy.

• Familiarity with content management systems and workflows for updating structured data.

• Exposure to APIs, basic scripting, or automation tools is an advantage.

• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to run periodic data audits.

• Strong understanding of data structures and basic database concepts.

• Familiarity with product management tools (JIRA, Notion, Confluence).
• Strong problem-solving skills, detail orientation, and ownership mindset.

• Interest in building a career in Product Management.
