Designation : Consultant (SuiteCommerce)

What is the work?
- Lead and participate in the implementation, customization, and configuration of SuiteCommerce Advanced sites to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and design robust e-commerce solutions.
- Develop and customize themes and layouts using HTML, CSS, Sass, and JavaScript (Backbone.js, jQuery). Ensure sites are responsive, cross-browser compatible, and adhere to modern UX/UI best practices.
- Customize and extend platform functionality using SuiteScript (1.0 & 2.0+), SuiteFlow, and SuiteBuilder to integrate e-commerce processes with NetSuite's core records (Items, Customers, Sales Orders, etc.).
- Build and maintain SuiteCommerce extensions to add new features and integrations without modifying the core codebase.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize site performance, including page load speeds, search functionality, and overall user journey efficiency.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement timely resolutions for production incidents.
- Manage code versions using GIT and oversee deployment processes across development, staging, and production environments.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, and provide training to business users and administrators.
What skills and experience are we looking for?
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA).
- Strong functional understanding of NetSuite ERP, including Items & Inventory, Customer Management, Order Management, and Fulfillment.
- Expert-level knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Sass, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Proven experience with Backbone.js and jQuery.
- Proficiency in SuiteScript (1.0 & 2.0+), SuiteTalk (REST/SOAP), SuiteBuilder, and SuiteFlow.
- Experience with GIT, Gulp/Webpack, and browser developer tools.
- Solid understanding of e-commerce concepts, including PCI compliance, SEO, analytics, and A/B testing.
- NetSuite SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer II, and Administrator certifications are highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with other e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce) is a plus.
- Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) and their integration with SCA.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
