UK Tax & Legal Digital Innovation Software Engineer II – Azure DevOps Specialist

Work you’ll do

Design, develop, debug, test, deploy modern web applications and support custom applications and modules as per business requirements using technologies like ASP.net MVC, Angular, HMTL5 and bootstrap. You will perform data intensive tasks and be skilled to organize the data for reporting requirement. It is a unique opportunity to be a part of growing USI UK DTS team that develops priority applications for the marketplace. You will develop and demonstrate good understanding and working

Responsibilities include: -

Guided assistance to Deloitte Member Firms to support

• Design and implement cloud solutions to create Azure resources and automate provisioning
• Write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Industry standard tools and services
• Provide systems support including responding to monitoring alerts
• Implement and stay abreast of Cloud DevOps industry best practices and tooling
• Participate in the design and implementation of new system layers utilizing a first-principles understanding of high complexity compute environments.
• Architect, develop, deploy, and evolve CI and CD systems in multiple environments (DEV,QA,STG.PROD)
• Setting up or managing backups and patching across the environments
• Review the code and coach the team members where necessary

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of relevant experience in DevOps engineering, with a focus on Azure.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps Services (Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Artifacts).
• Experience with Azure Services like Key Vault, Storage, Virtual Machines etc.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform).
• Experience in creating and maintaining YAML-based CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) .
• Solid understanding of source control (Git) and branching strategies.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Positive attitude and a strong team player.

Preferred

• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator Associate).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights).
• Understanding Kubernetes and Docker security best practices.
• Familiarity with service mesh concepts (not mandatory).
• Experience with GitOps mechanisms (not mandatory).
