Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to monitor and enforce domestic compliance policies and regulations across all operations in India. The Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring adherence to all applicable laws, industry standards, and internal policies within the company's operations, ensuring a high level of legal and ethical integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant local regulations, laws, and industry standards in India (including but not limited to corporate laws, tax laws, labor laws, environmental regulations, etc.).
• Regularly review changes in local legislation and ensure that the company complies with any new or updated regulatory requirements.
• Conduct periodic compliance audits and assessments across various departments and functions.
• Identify and report any potential areas of non-compliance, recommending corrective actions.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining internal compliance policies and procedures.
• Ensure that all employees are informed of and understand compliance obligations and procedures.
• Provide training to employees at all levels to ensure they are aware of their compliance responsibilities and the company’s policies.
• Prepare and deliver regular updates on regulatory changes and compliance best practices.
• Identify and assess compliance risks in the company’s operations.
• Develop mitigation strategies to minimize compliance-related risks.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory reports and filings to government agencies, as required.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all compliance-related activities for audit and reporting purposes.
• Act as the primary point of contact with regulatory bodies, government agencies, and legal advisors regarding compliance issues.
• Coordinate responses to any regulatory inquiries or investigations.
• Investigate potential compliance violations or concerns raised by employees, stakeholders, or external parties.
• Take appropriate disciplinary actions or recommend remedial measures for non-compliance.
• Provide advice and guidance to internal teams on compliance-related matters to ensure compliance with both legal and ethical standards.
• Support senior management with compliance strategies and provide recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CCEP, CAMS)
• At least 3–5 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or risk management in a corporate setting
• In-depth knowledge of local laws and regulations
• Experience in conducting internal audits and assessments.
