Compliance Officer

· We are seeking a proactive and experienced liaison officer to manage and facilitate interactions between our organization and various government departments, regulatory bodies, and public sector undertakings (PSUs), especially related to Indian Railways and other transport authorities. The ideal candidate will ensure timely approvals, statutory compliance, and smooth coordination to support ongoing railway manufacturing projects.

• Facilitate compliance with all applicable Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) regulations and standards mandated by the Jharkhand government and central bodies (e.g., OHSAS/ISO 45001, Factories Act provisions on safety).
• Liaise with the Directorate of Factories, Boiler Inspectorate, and other relevant H&S authorities.
• Assist in obtaining necessary licenses, permits, and clearances related to safety (e.g., Factory License, Boiler Registration, Hazardous processes approvals).
• Coordinate safety audits and inspections by regulatory bodies.
• Stay updated on Jharkhand-specific H&S regulations and best practices.
• Proactively identify and analyze all relevant Central and State Government subsidies, incentives, and schemes available for manufacturing industries in Jharkhand (e.g., Industrial Policy subsidies, Capital/Interest subsidies, Power subsidies, Export incentives, R&D grants).
• Prepare and submit comprehensive applications, claims, and documentation for availing subsidies and incentives.
• Track application status, follow up diligently, and ensure timely disbursement of benefits.
• Maintain records and provide reports on subsidy utilization.
• Liaise with Revenue Authorities (Land Revenue Department, Circle Officer, Deputy Commissioner), Local Municipal Bodies, and Jharkhand Industrial Area Development Authority (JIADA) for all land-related matters.
• Assist in processes related to land acquisition (if applicable), land conversion (e.g., agricultural to industrial), mutation, partition, and resolving land disputes.
• Facilitate obtaining necessary NOCs, clearances, and approvals related to land use and property.
• Manage property tax assessments and payments with local municipal bodies.
• Stay updated on Jharkhand land laws, regulations, and policies impacting industrial land.
• Liaise with Government and other regulatory authorities for product approvals, certifications, inspections, and tenders.
• · Facilitate timely statutory clearances, permits, and NOCs from government departments labor offices, factory inspectors, etc.
• · Liaise with consultants to prepare and submit required documentation for approvals.
• · Monitor progress of applications and ensure regulatory deadlines are met.
• · Ensure adherence to government procurement policies, quality certifications (ISO, IRIS, etc.), and rail safety standards.
• · Maintain strong professional relationships with government officials and ensure
• continuous follow-up on pending matters.
• · Monitor changes in railway standards, government schemes, and industrial policies that may affect business.
• · Maintain proper documentation of all liaison activities, approvals, and correspondence.
• · Provide compliance support during project expansion.
• · Facilitate site inspections, approvals, and clearances from local bodies.
• · Work closely with Accounts, Legal, to ensure all statutory obligations are aligned with business operations.

Key Skills:

· Strong understanding of railway manufacturing standards and regulatory procedures (especially RDSO/Railway Board protocols)

· Willingness to travel as required for liaison and compliance activities.

· Should be open to frequent travel to project sites and government offices.

· Keen to Acquire New Knowledge in Regulatory & Compliance Domains.

· Excellent verbal and written communication

· Strong networking and interpersonal skills

· Knowledge of relevant laws and compliance.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹58,536.33 per month
