Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Lead to oversee regulatory, operational, and ethical compliance within our retail operations . The ideal candidate will ensure that all business activities adhere to internal policies and applicable laws, with a focus on consumer protection, data privacy, labor laws, and retail-specific regulations. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and monitor internal policies, controls, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance across all retail functions. Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments across store operations, supply chain, and digital platforms. Liaise with government agencies and ensure licenses, permits, and statutory registrations are up-to-date (FSSAI, GST, Labour, etc.). Train internal teams on compliance requirements and ethical practices. Monitor compliance with retail and industry-specific regulations (e.g., FDI norms, POS regulations, data protection laws, and fair pricing). Lead internal investigations into compliance violations and recommend corrective action. Support cross-functional teams (Legal, HR, Procurement, Store Ops) on contract and vendor compliance. Ensure compliance in marketing and promotional campaigns (e.g., discount disclosures, labeling requirements). Stay current with emerging regulations (ESG, CSR, digital commerce laws, etc.) and guide leadership accordingly. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or related field; Compliance certifications (e.g., CCEP, ICA, etc.) are a plus . 5–8 years of relevant experience in compliance roles, preferably in retail, FMCG, or e-commerce domains. Strong understanding of Indian regulatory landscape (Labour Law, FSSAI, GST, POS, etc.). Experience handling internal audits, investigations, and reporting to regulators.
