Job Description

Compliance Head

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Implementation:
Identify new laws and regulations applicable to the company and ensure their effective implementation across all functions.
Review & Approval:
Review health insurance products and all related documents, including marketing materials, customer communications, and training modules, to ensure they meet regulatory standards.
Process & System Development:
Develop and implement compliance systems, processes, and controls for various business functions, such as operations, claims, underwriting, and sales.
Reporting:
Establish and manage processes for reporting to the
IRDA (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India)
and the Board, ensuring all statutory requirements are met in a timely manner.
Risk Management:
Assist in identifying compliance and regulatory risks, analyze their implications, and recommend actions to mitigate them.
Guidance & Training:
Provide expert guidance to various functions on applicable laws, regulations, and ethics. Conduct regular compliance workshops and training sessions for all teams.

Required Experience & Skills

Experience:
A minimum of
8+ years
of relevant experience with a reputed corporate or MNC, preferably in the
insurance sector
.
Skills:
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. A deep understanding of regulatory requirements and the ability to implement them effectively across an organization.
