Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commis (Pantry) to join our team at Fidato Hotels. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in hotels or restaurants.

Roles and Responsibility

Assist the pantry chef in managing food preparation and presentation.
Maintain high standards of quality and hygiene in the pantry area.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Develop new recipes and menus to enhance culinary offerings.
Implement effective inventory management systems to minimize waste.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Commis (Pantry) or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and ingredients.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Culinary certification or relevant training is an asset.
