Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commis I to join our Indian Section team at Mastiff Grand La Villae. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in the culinary industry, with a strong background in cooking and excellent kitchen management skills.

Roles and Responsibility

Assist the Chef de Partie in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety in the kitchen.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
Develop new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the dining experience.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Participate in inventory management and ordering supplies.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Commis I or similar role in a professional kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances.
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
