Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Commis Chef to join our team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have 11-25 years of experience and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Roles and Responsibility

Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance culinary offerings.
Conduct inventory management and order supplies as needed.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Commis Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen setting.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, ingredients, and cooking methods.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Culinary certification or relevant training is an asset.
