Job Description

As a Commercial Sales Executive in our company, your role involves identifying and generating new commercial leads through various means such as research, networking, field visits, and referrals. You will need to understand client needs related to energy usage, roof/space characteristics, subsidies, and constraints. Working closely with the technical/design team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate proposals and quotations including cost estimates and performance calculations. Your negotiation skills will be crucial in ensuring commercial viability and meeting margin targets. Additionally, you will follow up with clients, address objections, and close deals effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and generate new commercial leads through research, networking, field visits, referrals - Understand client needs and constraints related to energy usage, roof/space characteristics, and subsidies - Prepare accurate proposals and quotations including cost estimates and performance calculations - Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure commercial viability - Follow up with clients, address objections, and close deals - Coordinate with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality expectations - Maintain regular communication with existing commercial clients for service, maintenance, upgrades, or expansions - Track and report sales pipeline, forecasts, results vs targets - Monitor competitor offers and market trends, and suggest pricing or product improvements - Ensure customer satisfaction post-installation and handle complaints or requests Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, Engineering, or related field - Prior experience in B2B/commercial sales, preferably in solar/renewable energy or related technical fields - Strong communication and negotiation skills - Good understanding of technical concepts in solar PV - Ability to conduct site visits and assess feasibility - Comfortable preparing technical proposals and quotations - Customer-centric approach with good relationship building skills - Ability to work independently and in a team - Fluent in English and Malayalam (local languages preferred) Additional Company Details: Our company values customer satisfaction and aims to maintain long-term relationships with clients.
