Key Responsibilities

Commercial & Financial Operations

• Oversee plant-level commercial and finance operations
  
• Manage sales billing, dispatch, freight, and logistics accounting
  
• Handle purchase accounting, GRN, vendor reconciliation
  
• Supervise stores accounting, inventory valuation, and consumption
  
• Monitor expenses, working capital, and cash flow
  

Costing, MIS & Profitability

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
  
• Conduct product-wise and process-wise cost analysis
  
• Identify cost leakages and efficiency improvement opportunities
  
• Support management with data-driven insights
  

Accounts Finalization & Audit

• Monthly and annual accounts finalization
  
• Coordinate statutory, internal, and cost audits
  
• Ensure timely audit closure and compliance
  
• Maintain adherence to Ind AS standards
  

Budgeting & Financial Control

• Prepare annual budgets and track variances
  
• Plan, monitor, and control Capex
  

Contracts, Purchase & Commercial Governance

• Oversee purchase orders and work contracts
  
• Commercial finalization with vendors and contractors
  
• Ensure contract compliance and mitigate commercial risks
  

Inventory, Assets & Stores

• Inventory control and optimization
  
• Fixed asset accounting and physical verification
  

Statutory & Regulatory Compliance

• GST, Income Tax, TDS, and statutory compliance
  
• Timely return filing and liaison with authorities
  

IT, ERP & Systems

• ERP / Tally implementation and integration
  
• Integration of weighbridge, stores, and production systems
  

Administration & Coordination

• Oversee canteen, security, and time office functions
  
• Coordinate with production, HR, logistics, and corporate teams
  

Leadership

• Lead and develop the commercial and accounts team
  
• Stakeholder coordination and senior management reporting
  

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong exposure to manufacturing / steel plant operations
  
• Expertise in costing, MIS, and financial controls
  
• Sound knowledge of statutory compliance and audits
  
• ERP and digital systems proficiency
  
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
