Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Collection Manager based in Varanasi. The Collection Manager will be responsible for executing and overseeing collection activities to ensure timely repayment of dues and reducing delinquency levels. The role involves developing collection strategies, managing a team, maintaining strong relationships with customers, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. The individual will also be responsible for assessing risks and resolving customer disputes effectively while meeting performance targets.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge and experience in collection strategies, debt recovery processes, and delinquency management
Leadership and team management skills to effectively supervise and motivate the collection team
Proficiency in customer relationship management to build and maintain positive client interactions
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and resolve disputes efficiently
Working knowledge of financial systems, regulatory compliance, and reporting processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver results under pressure
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus
Prior experience in a similar role within the financial or NBFC sector is preferred
