About The Opportunity

Opportunity in the Enterprise Business Intelligence & Analytics sector, supporting large-scale data warehousing and reporting initiatives for enterprise clients. This is a hands-on, on-site role in India focused on delivering robust Cognos-based reporting, data modelling, and operational BI support across finance, supply chain, and sales domains.Role: IBM Cognos Developer (On-site, India)Role & Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain production-grade Cognos reports, dashboards and report templates using Report Studio and IBM Cognos Analytics.
Build and manage data models and packages in Cognos Framework Manager; implement dimensional modelling and metadata design for performant reporting.
Write and tune SQL queries, optimize report performance, and troubleshoot CQM/DQM and query engine issues to meet SLAs.
Integrate reports with ETL and data warehouse layers; collaborate with ETL engineers to ensure data availability and correctness.
Manage deployments across development, QA and production environments; maintain version control, scheduling, and automated deployments where applicable.
Provide L2/L3 support, perform root-cause analysis for report failures, and produce clear technical documentation and runbooks.
