The
Cockpit
is a centralized R&D project and portfolio management tool designed to streamline innovation project tracking across multiple Business Units (BUs). It provides a unified platform for project leaders, portfolio managers, and R&D directors to manage, visualize, and analyze project data through dashboards and KPIs.We are seeking a
Project Leader
to drive the development, integration, and continuous improvement of the Cockpit platform. This role will collaborate with global stakeholders, manage the development lifecycle, and ensure the tool evolves to meet the dynamic needs of R&D teams across the organization. The project leader will also have a key role to support the R&D central team in the definition of minimum requirements for project and portfolio management and their follow up.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Project Leadership
- Act as the primary contact between (i) business and R&D stakeholders and (ii) the development team.
- Define and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with business goals.
- Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives in a 2-week Agile cycle.
- Ensure timely delivery of features and integrations as per the roadmap.
Platform Development & Integration
- Oversee integration of external tools (e.g., Sciforma, Monday.com, PWA).
- Coordinate with Azure environment and data architecture teams for backend support.
- Ensure seamless data centralization and automated reporting.
User Experience & Support
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to enhance user interface and usability.
- Manage user roles, access, and training in coordination with BU Tool Owners.
- Collect and analyze user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Data & Dashboard Management.
- Work with data architects and R&D stakeholders to define and implement KPIs and dashboards;
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability for all stakeholders.
- Support retrospective analysis and reporting for R&D
Educational Qualification
B.Sc/MCA/B.E / M SC IT / MBA Information Systems /M SC Information Systems/M SC Computer science/M Tech
Minimum Years Of Experience
- 5 to 8 years of experience in IT project management or product ownership.
Nature Of Experience
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
- Proven experience in managing enterprise platforms or digital tools.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Experience in cross-functional, global project environments.
- Exposure to R&D or innovation project environments is a plus.
Technical Skills
