Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled

Configuration Management Database (CMDB) / Sr.Configuration Management Analyst

with strong expertise in

ServiceNow ITSM

to support and enhance our enterprise IT Service Management processes. The analyst will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of the CMDB, managing configuration data throughout its lifecycle, and supporting ITIL-aligned Configuration Management processes. This role requires close collaboration with IT Service Owners, Application Owners, Infrastructure Teams, and ServiceNow platform administrators to maintain compliance, enable operational excellence, and improve decision-making across IT services.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor"s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in ITSM/CMDB administration and governance, with at least 2 years focused on ServiceNow ITSM/CMDB modules.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL v3/v4 processes, specifically Configuration Management, Change Management, and Incident/Problem Management.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB Health Dashboard, and Integrations.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets, reconcile data accuracy, and produce actionable reports.

Preferred:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) for CMDB or Discovery.
  • Experience with scripting languages (JavaScript, PowerShell, Python) for data automation.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure technologies (servers, networking, cloud platforms, virtualization).
  • Strong communication skills to interact with technical and business stakeholders at all levels.
