Job Description Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of hands-on development experience Experience with microservices and cloud native applications design. Experience in Kubernetes and Docker. Experience/Knowledge in at least three of the following technical areas is also required: Object oriented design and methodologies Experience developing cloud-based services (e.g. SaaS, PaaS) Knowledge and development background in web services, or web based technologies using REST. Experience with VoIP/IMS based technologies based on SIP protocol. Experience with highly available/redundant software. 2+ years of DPDK, including DPDK drivers and DPDK framework As mandatory, solid expertise in following: C, C++, Python, Golang and Java will be plus Hands on experience in network programming(TCP/IP) and debugging networking issues Experience in developing Scalable, Fault tolerant and Highly available systems Experience in developing multi-threaded and client server applications Experience working in Agile/Scrum development process Experience in Linux/Unix environment Strong communication skills required. Strong writing skills required. Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities. Knowledge of software development methodology, build tools and product life cycle; experience in agile development is a plus. Excellent team skills, can-do attitude, focus on quality. BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent Responsibilities Job Description : This is an engineering position that will involve working on Oracle’s market-leading Session Border Controller (SBC) product. The SBC is deployed across multiple top-tier operators and numerous large and medium enterprises. This position is to specifically support an initiative to develop a cloud-native SBC following an Agile development methodology. Candidates will be expected to perform development and test activities.
