You're the Azure architect who treats cloud like an engineering problem, not a purchasing decision. You see a sprawl of subscriptions, policies, and bills, and you draw a line from business objective to landing zone to measurable savings. You can lead a C-suite workshop in the morning, review a target-state design after lunch, and ship an execution-ready roadmap by close. If that sounds like a normal Tuesday, keep reading.Virtasant is a global, remote-first consultancy that delivers tangible outcomes. We transform client environments with scalable, secure, cost-optimized Azure solutions that produce real savings and cement us as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients. The work blends hands-on architecture with consulting leadership: one foot in design patterns and guardrails, the other in stakeholder alignment, budgeting, and governance. This job is about writing technical architecture and cloud roadmaps that follow Azure and industry best practices, tailored to messy realities rather than theoretical diagrams. It's building cost optimization plans that start with billing and usage data, identify idle and oversized resources, model rightsizing and scheduling scenarios, and drive client adoption of budgets and policies. It's end-to-end solution designs and migration strategies that map dependencies, risks, sequencing, and timelines so teams can execute without heroic guesswork. You'll operate with high autonomy alongside a lean group of architects and FinOps specialists who care about clean designs, hard numbers, and client trust. Success looks like signed-off strategies, migrations that land without drama, and Azure bills that move in the right direction for reasons you can explain. If you thrive on complex problems, enjoy shaping direction with senior stakeholders, and want the accountability that comes with real impact for Fortune 500 clients, apply now!
