Job Summary:

The Senior Cloud Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing Azure

cloud environments to ensure operational efficiency, security, and scalability. The role will involve

planning, deploying, configuring, and supporting cloud-based infrastructure services, as well as

automating tasks to improve the system's reliability. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in

Microsoft Azure, along with strong skills in networking, security, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring performance,

scalability, and security.

• Maintain and optimize cloud services, including virtual machines, storage, databases, and

networking resources within Azure.

• Monitor the performance, availability, and security of cloud resources, implementing

necessary fixes and enhancements.

• Implement and maintain cloud automation tools (Azure DevOps, ARM templates,

Terraform) for infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and management.

• Collaborate with development, network, and security teams to ensure seamless integration

of infrastructure components.

• Oversee disaster recovery and backup processes for critical cloud infrastructure.

• Administer Azure Active Directory and ensure robust access management and

authentication protocols.

• Conduct performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting for cloud services.

• Maintain security best practices in cloud operations, ensuring compliance with internal and

regulatory requirements.

• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including procedures, policies, and

configurations.

• Provide mentorship and support to junior cloud administrators and IT teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years focused on Azure cloud

administration.

• In-depth experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., VMs, Storage, Virtual Networks,

Azure Active Directory).

• Proficiency with cloud automation tools (PowerShell, Terraform, Azure CLI, ARM Templates).

• Strong knowledge of networking principles, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs within

Azure.

• Experience with Azure Security services, compliance monitoring, and identity management.

• Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and integration of on-premises and cloud

solutions.

• Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation in Azure.

Preferred Skills:

• Azure Certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions

Architect, or similar).

• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline management.

• Understanding of multi-cloud environments.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Good time management and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
