Cloud Architect

As a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure. Your expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, along with enterprise IT systems and cloud-native technologies, will be crucial in driving our cloud strategy to ensure scalability, security, and cost-efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include designing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures, developing cloud adoption plans and migration strategies, and evaluating and recommending cloud solutions aligned with our business goals. You will also lead cloud infrastructure deployment and automation, optimize cloud performance, cost, and resource utilization, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning. In the realm of cloud security, you will be implementing cloud security best practices and governance while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaboration will be a key aspect of your role as you work closely with DevOps, Security, and Application teams, provide technical leadership and mentorship to cloud engineers, and effectively communicate cloud strategies to stakeholders and executives. To drive innovation and continuous improvement, you will stay updated with emerging cloud technologies such as AI/ML, containers, and serverless, and recommend improvements and upgrades to existing cloud systems. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or equivalent, 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud computing, and certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect and Azure Solutions Architect Expert. Additionally, you should have strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, and security, experience with infrastructure tools on cloud, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, and knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
