Cloud Application Architect

We are seeking a Cloud Application Architect with deep expertise in ASP.NET Core, Azure cloud services, and DevOps practices to design, build, and optimize modern cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining scalable architectures, leading technical design sessions, mentoring development teams, and ensuring secure, resilient, and automated deployment pipelines. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Architect cloud-native and AI-augmented applications using ASP.NET Core, Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and other Azure Services. 
• Integrate AI capabilities into applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) and Vector Databases. 
• Design intelligent workflows, leveraging chatbots, and conversational agents. 
• Lead solution design sessions, define architecture patterns for AI-native and traditional workloads, and maintain technical roadmaps. 
• Apply modern software architecture patterns such as microservices, event-driven, layered (n-tier), domain-driven design (DDD), and CQRS (Command Query Responsibility Segregation) to ensure scalability, modularity, and maintainability. 
• Lead the development of modern ASP.NET Core Web APIs, microservices, and AI integration layers. 
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to enable automated builds, testing, and deployments. 
• Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Bicep or Terraform for automated provisioning and configuration management. 
• Design and implement data access and storage strategies using Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Storage, and Cosmos DB, ensuring performance, scalability, and data integrity. 
• Implement observability, telemetry, and feedback loops using Application Insights and Azure Monitor. 
• Collaborate with customers, business analysts, and various stakeholders to translate business objectives into AI-enabled cloud solutions. 
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code review to developers. 

Required Qualifications 

• B-Tech in Computer Science or MCA. 
• 5+ years of experience in designing and developing enterprise applications. 
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in developing chatbots and intelligent agents using LLMs and agentic frameworks. 
• Proven experience with: 
• ASP.NET Core, C#, Web API, Entity Framework Core 
• Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Key Vault, Service Bus, API Management 
• Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Artifacts) 
• Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep, Terraform, ARM templates) 
• Containerization (Docker, Azure Kubernetes Service – AKS) 
• AI and Cognitive Services (Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Search, Azure AI Foundry, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen) 
• Database technologies: Microsoft SQL Server, Cosmos DB, or other NoSQL systems 
• Database optimization, stored procedures, query performance tuning, and secure data access patterns 
• Software architecture patterns: Microservices, Event-driven Architecture,  
• Layered/N-Tier, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, and API Gateway patterns 
• Debugging and performance profiling tools for .NET and Azure environments
