Job Requirements

Role: Client Success Partner

Job Purpose

Develop and execute strategies to maximize wallet share by offering tailored liability and asset solutions, including credit facilities, treasury products, and working capital solutions.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product, credit, and risk teams, to design customized financial solutions for startups.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Market Share Expansion & Business Growth
Acquire and grow relationships with funded startups, increasing the bank’s penetration in the startup ecosystem.
Drive current account acquisition, deposit mobilization, and fee income growth across transaction banking services.
  • Team Leadership, Talent Acquisition & Development
Hire, train, and lead a team of 5-6 high-performing relationship managers focused on startup banking.
Foster a high-performance culture, ensuring the team meets acquisition and revenue growth targets.Provide coaching, mentoring, and ongoing skill development to enhance team effectiveness.Implement structured performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and professional development initiatives.
  • Relationship Management & Client Advisory
Develop deep relationships with

startup founders, CFOs, and investors

, positioning the bank as their preferred financial partner.Offer

tailored banking solutions

that support startups at different growth stages, ensuring long-term engagement.Act as a

trusted advisor

, providing insights on financial structuring, cash flow management, and investment solutions.
  • Transaction Banking & Product Innovation
Leverage

transaction banking solutions

(cash management, FX, trade finance, and digital banking) to optimize cash flow and treasury management for startups.Work closely with the product team to

develop and enhance banking offerings

that cater to the unique needs of funded startups.Ensure seamless

digital banking experiences

for startups through technology-driven solutions.
  • Ecosystem Partnerships & Market Positioning
Build and maintain relationships with

VCs, PE firms, angel investors, accelerators, and incubators

to generate high-quality startup leads.Represent the bank at

startup events, investor summits, and industry forums

to enhance brand positioning.Develop strategic alliances with

startup ecosystem partners

to offer value-added services beyond banking.
  • Strategic Initiatives & Market Intelligence
Stay ahead of

funding trends, regulatory developments, and startup ecosystem shifts

to drive innovation.Work with

internal teams

to enhance digital-first banking solutions that cater to high-growth startups.Identify and mitigate potential risks while ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
