Role Overview

As a Client Strategy Manager – Paid Media


Key responsibility

Client Strategy and Communication

  • Manage strategic relationships with founders, CMOs, and marketing leaders.
  • Lead weekly performance reviews and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Align client expectations, growth targets, and media plans with overarching business goals.
  • Oversee client P&L related to ad investments, balancing efficient and scalable growth.

Performance Management & Reporting

  • Monitor campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
  • Ensure CAC, ROAS, CTR, and CVR targets are met through consistent, data-driven optimization.
  • Diagnose performance issues and recommend effective improvement strategies.
  • Build and present transparent, insight-rich reports.

Scaling & Strategic Management

  • Partner with strategy teams to build detailed growth roadmaps.
  • Recommend budgets, funnel structures, and audience expansion plans.
  • Audit creatives and landing pages to inform strategic decisions.
  • Identify opportunities for platform testing, automation, and innovation.

Execution Oversight & Team Coordination

  • Ensure daily operations and reporting tasks are executed accurately and on time.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable tasks for internal teams.
  • Review deliverables, track progress, and uphold high-quality standards.
  • Mentor junior team members in performance marketing and client communication.

Process & System Development

  • Create SOPs and templates for audits, reporting, and review processes.
  • Maintain consistency through structured documentation and workflows.
  • Contribute to automation, dashboard development, and other efficiency initiatives.


Requirements:

  • 4–7 years of experience in performance marketing or digital strategy, ideally in an agency environment.
  • Proven experience managing monthly ad spends of ₹50L–₹2Cr+ across platforms.
  • Strong expertise in Meta Ads, Google Ads, and analytics tools (GA4, Mixpanel, etc.).
  • Highly analytical with a data-first mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent client communication and relationship management abilities.
  • Strategic thinker who connects marketing metrics to business outcomes.
  • Experience mentoring team members and improving internal workflows.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience using AI or automation tools for optimization and reporting.
  • Knowledge of multi-touch attribution, blended ROAS, and full-funnel measurement.
  • Exposure to D2C, SaaS, or healthcare industries.
  • Familiarity with Looker Studio, Supermetrics, Slack, and Asana/ClickUp.
