CDC offers a comprehensive service for solid waste management, integrated approach for management of MSW from segregated waste collection at source, efficient and effective transportation as well as scientific disposal.

Job Summary:

We are currently looking for an ideal candidate who can direct, manage, supervise and co-ordinate the operations of Solid Waste Management including Collection, transportation and building of Processing plant at here.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply high-level civil engineering techniques and processes to identify improvements for various infrastructure project phases including concept development, preliminary design, final design, procurement, construction, and operation
• Perform basic professional civil engineering work relating to conducting research and inspections of proposed and existing site conditions, resources, building, infrastructure, and transportation channels to determine conformance with applicable rules, standards, and construction or operating permits.
• Conduct on site investigations and analyze data.
• Monitor progress and compile reports in project status.
• Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc. and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.
• Plans, directs, coordinates, and reviews the work plan for Waste Management services and activities; assigns work activities and projects; monitors work flow; reviews and evaluates work products, methods, and procedures;
• Attends, participates in, and leads professional group meetings; stays abreast of new trends and innovations related to the field of Waste Management Operations.
• Oversees and participates in the development of the Waste Management annual budget; participates in forecasting funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials, and supplies; monitors and approves expenditures; implements adjustments.
• Identifies opportunities for improving service delivery methods and procedures; identifies resource needs; obtains approval for improvements as needed/required; implements improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with a focus in Waste management, or closely related discipline.
• 3-5 years’ experience in Operations (Solid waste Management).
• Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing in English as well as Hindi.
• Basic knowledge on solid waste collection, disposal, transfer operations, and recycling methods and systems.
• Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
• Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
