Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology vision, oversee development processes, and ensure our IT solutions fully support the business goals. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with excellent communication and leadership skills, bridging the gap between commercial, operational, and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

 • Business-to-Technology Translation

 • Work closely with commercial and operations teams to understand business requirements and challenges.

 • Translate those needs into clear, effective, and scalable IT solutions.

 • Ensure proposed solutions align with business objectives and client expectations.

 • Technical Leadership

 • Act as the company’s top expert in Laravel and MySQL, guiding architecture, coding standards, and development practices.

 • Stay hands-on with development when needed, providing code reviews, mentoring, and troubleshooting.

 • Oversee system integrations, data management, and platform scalability.

 • Team & Project Management

 • Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team to deliver high-quality projects on time.

 • Establish and maintain project timelines, milestones, and deadlines.

 • Balance resources effectively, ensuring productivity without compromising quality.

 • Strategic Planning & Innovation

 • Define and implement the company’s long-term technology roadmap.

 • Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and practices to improve efficiency and performance.

 • Ensure best practices for security, data integrity, and system reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

 • Proven experience as a CTO, Tech Lead, or Senior Software Engineer in a digital or technology-driven company.

 • Expert-level knowledge of Laravel and MySQL (mandatory).

 • Strong ability to analyze business requirements and design efficient technical solutions.

 • Excellent project and time management skills for both personal work and team deliverables.

 • Experience leading development teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

 • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Skills

 • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

 • Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and microservices.

 • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

 • Project Delivery: ≥ 90% of IT projects delivered on time and within scope.

 • System Reliability: Maintain platform uptime of 99.5% or higher.

 • Team Efficiency: Reduction of development backlog by X% per quarter.

 • Business Alignment: ≥ 80% of commercial/operations requirements successfully translated into functioning IT solutions without major rework.

 • Code Quality: ≤ 5% of code requiring major refactoring post-release.

 • Time Management: Clear delivery roadmap maintained with no more than 10% slippage on planned deadlines.
