About the Role We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong Spring Framework and authentication protocol expertise to join our engineering team. The role will focus on enhancing and maintaining our secure, enterprise-grade SSO (Single Sign-On) portal , integrating OIDC , FIDO2 , and Passkey capabilities, along with contributing to core authentication components used across desktop and mobile platforms. Key Responsibilities Integrate OIDC server into an existing Spring-based SSO system (currently supports SAML). Implement authentication flows using OIDC, SAML, OAuth2, and FIDO2 in coordination with existing federation mechanisms. Collaborate with mobile and desktop teams to integrate core authentication features into their respective clients. Design and develop RESTful APIs for seamless interoperability across web, desktop, and mobile. Work on enhancing token-based authentication systems (TOTP/HOTP). Maintain and scale enterprise-grade authentication backend systems. Create secure middleware for Windows login federation (used by our desktop app). Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java (Enterprise Level) . Expertise in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring MVC). Strong knowledge of authentication protocols : OIDC (OpenID Connect) SAML OAuth 2.0 FIDO2 TOTP/HOTP Deep understanding of identity federation and SSO platforms . Solid grasp of REST API design , microservices architecture , and secure data handling . Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL . Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools. Bonus Skills (Nice to Have) Exposure to Passkey (WebAuthn) implementations. Experience working with Windows services or Windows credential providers . Experience in secure session management and MFA. Why Join Us?
