Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) – Group Role

Location: Pune

Reporting To: Vice President Corporate office

Salary range: 30-36 lacs

Experience: 15+ years in strategic marketing leadership across diverse sectors

Role Overview:

Chief Marketing Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute the group’s integrated marketing strategy across all verticals
• Build and manage brand architecture, positioning, and identity for each business unit
• Align marketing goals with business objectives and revenue targets

Brand & Communication

• Lead brand development for the University and Hospitality verticals, ensuring distinct yet cohesive messaging
• Oversee internal and external communications, PR, and stakeholder engagement
• Manage creative direction across digital, print, and experiential channels

Performance Marketing & Digital

• Drive digital transformation across marketing functions
• Lead performance marketing, SEO/SEM, CRM, and analytics for lead generation and conversion
• Implement marketing automation and customer journey mapping

Education Sector Focus

• Develop student acquisition campaigns, academic brand positioning, and outreach strategies
• Collaborate with admissions, academic leadership, and external agencies to drive enrollment

Hospitality Sector Focus

• Build brand visibility and customer loyalty across hospitality assets
• Design seasonal campaigns, partnership programs, and guest experience initiatives

Team & Vendor Management

• Build and lead a high-performing marketing team across verticals
• Manage agency relationships, media planning, and marketing budgets

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience as a Marketing Head/CMO in multi-sector environments
• Exposure to

• Strong grasp of digital ecosystems, brand strategy, and customer segmentation
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
• MBA/PGDM in Marketing or related field preferred
